On Wednesday, May 28, Justin, aged 31, turned to Instagram after hearing the exciting news that Hailey, who is 28, had become a billionaire, largely due to e.l.f. Beauty's purchase of her successful skincare line.

He shared images of himself holding Hailey, who was beaming, and giving her a kiss on the cheek. Alongside this, he posted a screenshot of the beauty entrepreneur's Instagram announcement about the profitable sale of Rhode, a brand that's just three years old.

"In 2022, when I founded @rhode, I envisioned great things for the business,” Hailey expressed on social media that Wednesday. “Today, I am beyond thrilled and proud to share that we are collaborating with e.l.f. Beauty as we embark on this new chapter together.” She continued: “I discovered a fellow innovator with ambitions for a distinct kind of business that shares my belief in bold concepts and creativity, which will support our continued brand development.”

After expressing gratitude to her supporters and team, Hailey wrapped up her post with, “This is just the start.” Earlier that same day, e.l.f. Beauty revealed that it had reached an agreement to acquire Rhode for $1 billion, which encompasses $800 million in cash and stock at closing, plus a possible additional $200 million earnout contingent on the brand's future success.

Hailey and Justin, who married in September 2018, welcomed their son, Jack, in August 2024. Earlier this month, Hailey made her solo debut on the cover of American Vogue for the first time. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Justin confessed to Hailey that he had once told her she would “never” land the cover, despite both of them having previously graced the magazine’s pages together.

In Vogue's summer edition, Hailey clarified the rumors surrounding a supposed strain in her marriage.

“Most of what’s out there isn’t true,” she remarked to the publication. “The reality is: I live a genuine life. My reality involves waking up next to my wonderful family, my son, and being surrounded by friends who know me and love me, and whom I cherish.”

Hailey was present to support Justin when he returned to live music on Friday, May 23, making an unexpected appearance at the Grand National Tour concert featuring Kendrick Lamar and SZA at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Justin joined SZA to sing their hit song “Snooze,” even bestowing a few kisses on her hand during their performance.

At that moment, Hailey shared several videos from the concert on her Instagram Stories, including three different angles of Justin kissing SZA’s hand. She captioned one video with a tearful face emoji and a smiling face with hearts emoji. In another clip, Hailey referred to Justin and SZA as her “two favorite artists.”
