Selena Gomez is completely infatuated with her fiancé Benny Blanco, and she openly expresses her affection.
On Sunday, August 10, the 33-year-old Gomez posted an adorable picture on Instagram where she can be seen kissing Blanco’s cheek. This image was part of a series of photos capturing a wedding they attended the previous night.
In the affectionate moment captured, Gomez wore a stunning ruby red halter-neck gown, which she paired with a black coat, as she pressed her lipstick-red lips to Blanco, who is 37. The music producer raised one of Gomez’s hands to his cheek while looking away from the camera.
Gomez’s photo carousel received love from several celebrity friends, including Chrissy Teigen and Joey King, both of whom liked the post. Rachael Ray commented, “Looking fabulous as always,” while musician SZA humorously mentioned in the comments that she had initially misunderstood Gomez’s caption—“About last night’s wedding”—thinking it referred to Gomez’s own upcoming wedding.
“This caption... I panicked so crazy,” SZA, 35, remarked, implying she feared Gomez had shared details from her future nuptials. SZA’s amusing comment prompted Ray, 56, to agree, saying, “Girl, you and me both!!”
Gomez and Blanco were in a relationship for a year before he proposed in December 2024. Although the couple has not disclosed their wedding date, Gomez shared some details about their special day during a TikTok video posted on July 25.
“Whenever that day comes, I do know I don’t want a big cake,” she shared in the clip from her beauty brand, Rare Beauty. “I think I’d want a mini one for just us that we can freeze.”
Gomez also shared her ideal wedding dessert. “My favorite treat would be biscuits and gravy. My Nana’s biscuits and gravy—that sounds like dessert to me,” she mentioned.
“We’re both juggling so many projects that we haven’t had a chance to dive into it yet, but we’re thrilled,” he commented in the July 10 episode. “I think this summer we’ll sit down and be like, ‘Alright, what are we doing, hun?’”
Blanco added, “We got engaged, then the holidays came, and we had to start promoting our projects. After that, she left to film her show, Only Murders in the Building. I visited her, we spent a week together, then back to promotions, and I’m also writing another book.”
The producer expressed confidence that when the big day finally arrives, it will meet their expectations. “It will be relaxed,” he noted during the podcast. “It will be extraordinary.”
