Brittany Williams, the former girlfriend of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, made her first Instagram post following his marriage to Hailee Steinfeld over the weekend.
On June 2, a Monday, Williams posted a series of photos on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “I like this little life 💕.” In the images, she is seen strolling through the streets of New York City dressed in a strapless maroon mini-dress.
In the pictures, Williams was also sporting sunglasses and carrying a small handbag, capturing moments with a slice of New York pizza and a cup of to-go coffee.
Allen, who is 29 years old, had a lengthy relationship with Williams, his childhood sweetheart, lasting from 2015 until 2023, before they ended their romance. He then began his relationship with Steinfeld, 28, in May 2023, and proposed to the Academy Award-nominated actress in November 2024.
In December 2024, Allen disclosed in Steinfeld's newsletter, "Beau Society," that he felt “nervous” about her finding out his proposal intentions.
“It was tough to conceal secrets from you and to have others in your world do the same,” he shared. “Throughout the day, various songs would play, and I would get emotional just thinking about how significant our day was going to be.”
Allen recounted how he proposed, stating, “I said, ‘I couldn’t wait any longer.’ I said, ‘I can’t wait to start a family with you.’ I addressed you by your full name and asked you very politely. I said please.”
He observed that Steinfeld was “extremely surprised” and accepted, which he described as “all that mattered” to him. He continued, “It feels incredible to be engaged to someone so special, loving, caring, beautiful, fun, and joyful.”
The couple was seen exchanging vows in California on Saturday, May 31, after being spotted the previous day during a rehearsal event, as reported by People. Steinfeld donned a white strapless gown complemented with opera gloves and a long white veil.
Months prior to the wedding, during the 2025 NFL Honors in February, Allen took a moment to acknowledge Steinfeld. Upon receiving the MVP award, he celebrated his now-wife in his acceptance speech, calling her his “rock” and “best friend.”
Before his relationship with Steinfeld, Allen was acquainted with Williams since childhood in Fresno, California. They reminisced about meeting around the age of eight at Allen’s brother's birthday party; however, their first official date occurred nearly ten years later when Williams invited Allen to accompany her to her school's Sadie Hawkins dance.
“I invited him to the Sadie Hawkins at my school, which was a significant event for him, and he felt nervous,” Williams recounted in a September 2022 episode of Kelly Stafford's "The Morning After" podcast, as reported by the New York Post. “My friends were rowdy; we took a party bus... [Allen] had never experienced a party bus before and was just overwhelmed by it. Plus, the boys at my school were unkind to him.”
She went on to say, “Honestly, I truly believe we didn't speak for a whole year following that evening … He was extremely shy, while I was not shy at all then. He disappeared on me for nearly a year, yet I understood; I thought, ‘Alright, I can see that our timing just isn’t right.’ I was aware that it wasn't destined to happen back then, but I always had a feeling in the back of my mind that it wasn’t finished.”
The pair reestablished their bond as first-year college students and had a relationship that lasted until they parted ways in 2023.
