Chase celebrated his 29th birthday on Sunday, June 1, just days following the pardon granted to his parents, Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, by President Donald Trump for their convictions related to bank fraud and tax evasion. He took to his Instagram Story on that day to share a Fox News post announcing his parents' return to Nashville.

Chase expressed his joy by saying, “Best birthday gift I could ask for.”

He also posted a heartfelt message from his girlfriend, Jodi Laine Fournerat, whom he started dating in late 2023 after ending his relationship with Emmy Medders.

“Happy birthday to the man who makes me feel like the luckiest woman on earth!” Fournerat captioned two pictures of them together. “You’re more than just my boyfriend; you’re my best friend, my biggest supporter, and someone I can always rely on. Thank you for showing me the beauty of true, unconditional love. I love you more than words can express, Chase Madison. ♥︎ @chasechrisley.”

The Chrisley family has been in high spirits since Trump, aged 78, announced his intention to pardon Todd and Julie during a phone conversation with their daughter Savannah Chrisley on Tuesday, May 27. (In addition to Chase and Savannah, the reality stars have a son named Grayson and an adopted daughter named Chloe. Todd also has two older children, Lindsie and Kyle, from a prior marriage.)

“It’s a terrible thing, but it’s a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean,” Trump shared in a video clip on X. “I hope we can wrap this up by tomorrow. I don’t know them, but please send them my best. [I] wish them a good life.”

On Wednesday, May 28, Savannah, 27, picked up her father from a federal facility in Florida while one of her brothers retrieved Julie from a detention center in Kentucky. The next day, Savannah offered a look at her parents reuniting after being apart for over two years.

Todd and Julie were found guilty of fraud in 2022 following indictments in 2019. Julie received a seven-year prison sentence, while Todd was imprisoned for 12 years. Their sentences were each commuted by almost two years prior to their release. Throughout these challenges, the couple has consistently asserted their innocence.

Savannah played a crucial role in the process of bringing her parents back home. During a press conference held in Nashville on Friday, May 30, Todd publicly expressed his gratitude to his daughter for her steadfast support. (Meanwhile, Julie remained at home with Chloe.)

“She has fought a long fight,” Todd told the press. “For any parent to watch their child endure this much effort, it’s a bittersweet experience. It’s a blessing, yet it breaks your heart to see your child in that situation.”

Todd shared that he would “always be thankful” to Savannah and denied the charges he was found guilty of. “Even though this pardon has come through, I still was convicted of something I did not do,” he asserted, continuing, “I would feel regret if I had actually committed an offense.”

Chase was noticeably absent from the press conference alongside his father and sister, but he had previously shared his feelings about witnessing his parents reuniting after a period of separation.

“I’m feeling a lot of emotions. It was a lovely experience,” he expressed to Entertainment Tonight the previous week. “It didn't truly resonate with me until they were both back home, and I had the chance to observe my mom and dad holding each other closely and embracing. … The level of happiness I felt is beyond words.”
