Tennis Star Frances Tiafoe Recalls ‘Drinking All Day’ With Taylor Swift: ‘Got My Ultimate Respect’

Taylor Swift can certainly hold her own when it comes to drinking!
Frances Tiafoe, a professional tennis player from the United States, recounted his experience of sharing a suite with the pop sensation during a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium last November, noting that the “Wildest Dreams” vocalist enjoyed several drinks alongside him.

“We walked into this suite, and the first person we spotted was Taylor,” Tiafoe remarked during an interview with Tennis TV on Monday, February 24.

“I thought to myself, ‘Act like you’ve been here before,’” Tiafoe, 27, shared, who attended the game that November with his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield.

“We spent the entire day drinking together. She was so chill. Truly one of the most humble individuals considering her status. Super down-to-earth. I hope we get to do that again,” he added.

Tiafoe confessed that although he isn’t a huge fan of Swift, she managed to impress him.

“It’s wild because I’m not even claiming to be a Swiftie, but I genuinely respect greatness,” he stated. “Witnessing how down to earth she was earned my complete respect.”

According to Tiafoe, Swift had a solid understanding of tennis. “She mentioned, ‘Man, we wanted to see you play in the final at the [U.S.] Open,’” the tennis player recalled.

“She also said, ‘Trav loves you,’” he noted, referencing Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Swift, 35, has been spotted attending various Kansas City games to support Kelce, who is also 35, since they made their relationship public in September 2023, including two Super Bowls. She was present at Super Bowl LIX earlier this month in New Orleans, where the Chiefs faced a disappointing defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now that both the NFL season and Swift’s record-shattering Eras Tour have concluded, the couple is set to enjoy some quality time together.

“I believe that once the Super Bowl passes, it’s going to be a very positive time for them to connect without the pressures of the NFL season or the Eras Tour,” Kelce’s father, Ed, shared with Australia’s Today show in early February. “Just the two of them, truly bonding more. I think that can only bring about good things.”
