Kelley Wolf is asserting that she is “malnourished” amidst the turmoil linked to her divorce from Scott Wolf.
On Monday, September 15, Kelley, 48, expressed her feelings on her Instagram Stories, appealing for understanding just a few days after being accused of breaching a protective order that restricts any communication with Scott, 57, and their three children.
“I want to be very clear,” Kelley stated on Monday. “I deserve respect and tranquility.”
She emphasized that she is “not unstable” and “not undergoing rehabilitation,” currently residing in her “hometown” while waiting for “a court hearing.”
She claimed, “I have no criminal record,” and “do not misuse substances.”
“I have lost everything,” she continued. “I am malnourished. Treated like a deranged individual, and I would be grateful if someone could just say… I love you. Welcome home. All I ever did was fight for my family.”
According to court records obtained by Us Weekly on Friday, September 12, Kelley—who has children Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11, with Scott—allegedly violated a protective order preventing “direct or indirect contact” with her family. This order was issued by the court last month. Kelley purportedly used “a friend’s phone” to try and reach one of her sons “through a friend’s son.”
“I am completely stunned by the relentless aggressive use of the legal system and possibly more,” Kelley, who is required to appear in court on November 7, told People in a statement on September 12. “[It] has become nearly unbearable for my physical body and my family’s health and well-being. I don’t understand how these matters are being processed. I have [allegedly] complied with all legal requirements, and I have never spoken ill of anyone at any time. I also want to clarify for those who may not grasp — divorce requires time. Anyone who continues to pressure a mother who is solely focused on fighting for her children should reconsider their actions.”
Scott initiated divorce proceedings against Kelley in June after 21 years of marriage. Following this, Kelley was reportedly detained by police due to her “concerning” remarks. In August, the actor refuted claims made by Kelley, describing them as “deeply troubling and completely false.”
“I have decided to come forward and reveal that she has described her intentions to ‘make claims’ about me, although she also acknowledged, ‘I do not believe they’re true,’ in an effort to gain leverage in what she views as a ‘battle’ in court as well as in the public eye,” Scott stated in a message to People at the time. “To protect my children, I am sharing the text messages she sent me detailing this scheme, ensuring there are no doubts about her motivations or the malicious intent behind her false claims made and/or expected in the future.”
Earlier this month, Kelley informed a district court judge that she intended to enter a rehabilitation center “starting on September 12.”
She remarked, “What I have been asked to do by both [Scott's lawyer] Bart Johnson and Scott Wolf for the past six months is simply to leave a marriage,” Kelley asserted. “I am enthusiastic about going to [the treatment center]. I cannot wait for it. My brother will be accompanying me. It’s wonderful. It’s an excellent facility. As a mental health professional, I frequently recommended it, so on September 12, I will begin my month-long stay there. I hope that brings some relief.”
Nevertheless, it is reported that Kelley left rehabilitation. She and Scott attended court on September 10 for a session regarding his request for a protective order. At that time, the judge indicated that the conditions of the temporary order “remain unchanged.” As first reported by Us, Scott sought a protective order on August 26 following Kelley’s arrest for sharing his phone number on social media.
Kelley spent two nights in jail after securing a $5,000 bond. She faces charges related to the electronic disclosure of personal identifying information as well as electronic communication harassment. Upon her release, the judge instructed Kelley to refrain from alcohol or drug use. Moreover, she was mandated to undergo either inpatient or outpatient medical treatment and was prohibited from contacting Scott or any witnesses associated with the case.
