Travis Kelce has just added another accolade to his impressive list of achievements.
In his latest venture outside of football, the superstar of the Kansas City Chiefs, 35, has partnered with American Eagle—not merely to represent a new campaign but also to spearhead it.
Kelce took on the role of Creative Director for the launch of AE x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce, a special collaboration with his sportswear and lifestyle brand, Tru Kolors, which was officially revealed on August 27.
The host of the "New Heights" podcast, along with his team, engaged in every facet of the development process, adopting a hands-on approach from design up to creation for this empowering new collection, which has been in development for over a year and is set for a second release on September 24.
Kelce meticulously chose the athletes participating in the brand's fashion initiative, assessing the materials utilized while also addressing the color schemes, sample choices, refinement of the silhouettes, and graphics.
He gathered an impressive lineup for the campaign, including emerging tennis star Anna Frey, top basketball guard Azzi Fudd, quarterback Drew Allar, basketball prospect Kiyan Anthony (son of Carmelo Anthony), the nation's top wide receiver recruit Jeremiah Smith, and gold medal-winning gymnast Suni Lee—all of whom exemplify the "live to play" ethos.
“I’ve had to contain my enthusiasm about this collaboration for almost a year. It was an incredible chance to partner with a well-established brand, where both parties were eager to truly collaborate on every aspect of the design and creative journey that brought the ‘AE x TK’ collection into existence,” Kelce expressed proudly. “I founded Tru Kolors in 2019 on the principles of authenticity and fun with fashion, and we wanted this collaboration to capture that same spirit. I aim for everyone to find something within the collection that resonates with them—a piece they can feel good in and truly make their own. I’m thrilled for it to finally be available to the public.”
Fans will be pleased to know that the items within the collection are affordably priced, with over 90 pieces ranging from $14.95 to $179.95. Featured items include vintage-style T-shirts, reinvented varsity jackets, cricket sweaters, rugby polos, utility cargo pants, as well as cozy chenille garments and fashionable cashmere sets.
AE and Kelce have aligned their vision with a common enthusiasm for creating clothing that instills confidence, offering pieces that are personal, purposeful, and adaptable.
The timing is perfect as the 2025 NFL season is about to kick off. Kelce and his teammates are gearing up to face the Los Angeles Chargers in the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener in São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday, September 5.
