Some of the latest additions to Bachelor Nation might be preparing to hit the beach for the tenth season of Bachelor in Paradise.
The participants from season 29 of The Bachelor exclusively shared with Us Weekly their interest in pursuing romance on Bachelor in Paradise. “I am still on the lookout for love. I’m single, just putting it out there,” stated Sarafiena Watkins to Us following the taping of the Women Tell All special. “I feel there must be people who could tempt me to go; I am truly committed to finding someone.”
Sarafiena, 29, was eliminated before the hometown dates of this season. Although Grant Ellis didn’t turn out to be her match, Sarafiena expressed to Us her willingness to explore dating another contestant from Bachelor Nation.
“I am really open about it,” she explained. “If there’s someone out there who matches well with me, I’d love to know.”
Alexe Godin, who was also sent home prior to Grant’s hometown visits, revealed to Us that joining Paradise would be “a fun experience,” despite having never watched a complete season of the Bachelor spinoff. “I’ve seen a few episodes, and it aligns more with my style,” she mentioned. “It’s a bit more lighthearted, fun, and silly, which describes me well. I’d really enjoy myself and have the chance to meet my future partner there.”
Describing herself as a “broken record,” 27-year-old Alexe admitted that she doesn’t know many of the men from Bachelor Nation well enough to have a specific person in mind for Paradise. Fortunately, fans have someone they think would be a good fit for her.
“I keep being told that Jonathon [Johnson] and I would make an adorable couple,” she shared with Us, referring to Jenn Tran's contestant who finished in third on The Bachelorette season 21. “I tried to hug him tonight, and he said, ‘Don’t hug too tight, people are going to scream.’ I’ve received great feedback about him being a nice guy, so who knows? I keep saying Jonathon and Tanner [Courtad] are cute; I think we can all agree on that.”
Another contestant from Grant’s Bachelor season who has expressed interest in participating in the tenth installment of Paradise is Alli Jo Hinkes, who left during the third rose ceremony. “If I were to be invited to Paradise and I was single at that time in my life... it’s possible,” she mentioned to Us. “We’ll see.”
On the other hand, Dina Lupancu is “unsure” if Paradise is a possibility for her after a season filled with drama. “Being back in the environment and seeing the girls made me nostalgic for it,” she commented about the Women Tell All taping. “But I’m not certain. I also haven’t checked out any of the guys, so I need to do that.”
Dina, 31, was dismissed after her hometown visit aired in the episode on March 3, while Juliana Pasquarosa, Litia Garr, and Zoe McGrady progressed to the fantasy suite dates. During the Women Tell All taping, Dina shared with Us that she realized she wouldn't be among Grant's final three during her hometown date, which her family opted not to attend.
“It was difficult for me, and I didn't grasp it until I experienced it, that waiting for your hometown date — mine was last, there was a waiting period of about seven days,” she described. “Before that, we had a travel day followed by the date in Scotland, and we hardly had any time to converse. So, we’re looking at nine days where we didn’t see each other or talk, without our phones, meaning there was nothing to nurture that bond.”
She added that it took her “several weeks” to move on from her split with Grant.
The Bachelor is broadcast on ABC on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
