Tristan Tate Claims James Kennedy ‘Begged’ for a Photo: ‘Called Me a Hero’

Tristan Tate alleges that James Kennedy, who previously appeared on Vanderpump Rules, “begged” him and his brother Andrew Tate for a photograph over the weekend.

Tristan, aged 36, and his brother Andrew, aged 38, returned to the United States from Romania in February and found themselves at the LIV nightclub in Las Vegas when Kennedy came up to them. The Tate brothers, who label themselves as misogynists, have been accused of human trafficking and other serious offenses.

“Begged and kissed my ass for 30 minutes straight and called me a hero,” Tristan expressed through X on Sunday, March 9, about his encounter with 33-year-old Kennedy. “He knew EXACTLY who I was and what kind of content I produced. He’s just a p— who can’t deal with direct messages from woke r—s. F— this guy.”

Kennedy, 33, seemingly approached the Tate siblings at LIV requesting a photo. He later shared the image on social media but subsequently removed it from his account and offered an apology instead. “I regret sharing a photo with the Tate brothers at an event last night,” Kennedy posted on his Instagram Story on Saturday, March 8. “I wasn’t aware of their content and the allegations against them. I only recognized them as podcasters who had released a viral clip regarding Vanderpump.”

He continued, “I have now informed myself and reject their views. I apologize to anyone I may have offended.”

The Tate brothers have encountered numerous allegations of human trafficking and sexual harassment both in the UK and Romania. They have firmly denied these accusations.

“We reside in a democratic society where it’s innocent until proven guilty, and I believe my brother and I are significantly misunderstood,” Andrew told reporters last month, according to the BBC, following their return to the United States. “There are many opinions about us, and a lot of misinformation circulating online.”

He emphasized, “We have never been convicted of any crime in our lives.”

In December 2022, the brothers were arrested on charges of rape and trafficking while in Romania. They both denied the accusations against them.

As for Kennedy, he faced allegations of domestic violence in December 2024, following an incident with ex-girlfriend Ally Lewber that resulted in his arrest. He denied the allegations and was not formally charged.

“I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones,” Kennedy stated via Instagram after his arrest. “Navigating difficult moments is not simple, but I am committed to learning, evolving, and progressing with the amazing support network around me.”

Lewber also refuted the idea that Kennedy had been physically abusive. “That’s crazy to me that that’s the most asked question [for me]. That makes me really sad, because no, I’m good. That never happened. There was no physical altercation,” she conveyed to podcast host Scheana Shay on “Scheananigans” in February 2024.

“They needed to separate the two people in the vehicle,” she continued. “Additionally, they proposed that James was part of it, and now there are speculations circulating that Teddi may have alluded to a conflict between you and James.”
