Multiple Kansas City Chiefs stars are expressing admiration for Taylor Swift.

On February 5, a video shared on X showcased Patrick Mahomes talking during a recent Chiefs press conference, where the 29-year-old quarterback openly discussed his views on Travis Kelce's well-known girlfriend.

When a journalist inquired whether he would choose "Patrick Mahomes’ scoring ability, Taylor Swift’s singing ability, or Steph Curry’s shooting ability," Patrick gave a clear answer.

“Taylor Swift’s singing ability ... it’s not even a contest,” Patrick stated into the microphone. This prompted the reporter to press him further, asking, “What about that arm though?” in reference to Patrick’s extraordinary skills in sports.

Patrick replied, “I mean, the arm’s great, but I’m not inspiring billions and millions of people.”

When asked to comment on Curry, 36, whom the reporter referred to as “the greatest shooter of all time,” Patrick elaborated. “I mean, I love Steph, man, he’s the greatest shooter of all time, but he’s not Taylor Swift,” Patrick joked, laughing.

These straightforward remarks came after he joked about the possibility of Swift, 35, performing at the upcoming Super Bowl, set for Sunday, February 9. During a press conference on Monday, February 3, Patrick said, “As long as Trav is playing and we are in the Super Bowl, that’s going to be tough for her to do the halftime show. Hopefully, Trav keeps playing and we keep making it to the Super Bowl.” (This year’s event is scheduled to feature Kendrick Lamar.)

Patrick’s mother, brother, and Brittany, 29, were seen at the game with their two children, Sterling, 3, and Bronze, 2. (The couple recently welcomed a third child, daughter, Golden, who was born three weeks prior.)

Recently, Swift and Kelce were spotted engaging in a cheerful conversation with Brittany and Patrick while attending the men’s singles final at the US Open as a group in September 2024.

The Mahomes were also observed enjoying some leisure time at Swift's Rhode Island residence in August 2024, joined by celebrities such as Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and Bradley Cooper.
