Actor Jang Dong-joo has ended his relationship with Nexus E&M.
On the 17th, Nexus E&M confirmed through a telephone communication with Dispatch that "It is accurate that our exclusive agreement with Jang Dong-joo has come to an end." The agency has no plans to extend the agreement.
Jang Dong-joo made his acting debut in the drama 'School 2019' in 2017. Following that, he featured in series like 'My Strange Hero' and 'Trigger,' in addition to films such as 'Honest Candidate,' 'Count,' and 'Handsome Guys.'
Recently, fans grew worried after he experienced a situation that left him uncontactable. Jang Dong-joo issued a brief apology on his social media on the 31st of the previous month, stating, "I apologize." Thankfully, he has been confirmed as safe.
Both the actor and the agency have not disclosed the reason behind the apology. During that time, the agency merely stated, "We apologize for causing concern [to the fans]."
In other news, Jang Dong-joo is scheduled to star in the upcoming SBS-TV drama 'Starting Today, I Am Human,' which is set to debut next January.
