Initially reported by People on Sunday, November 2, Us Weekly has confirmed that Britney Spears' account, at the age of 43, was no longer accessible that day.
Us has reached out for feedback from a representative for Spears.
This reported deactivation follows a series of contentious assertions made by Kevin Federline regarding Spears' conduct in raising their two sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.
The information surfaced less than a week after a restaurant manager exclusively informed Us that the artist was not behaving erratically during a dinner outing in Westlake Village, California, one day earlier — in contrast to a previous report from the Daily Mail suggesting otherwise.
Furthermore, an Instagram update posted by Spears on October 7 raised concerns when the pop icon was spotted with "bruises on her arms and bandages wrapped around her hands and wrists,” according to People’s report on Sunday.
The outlet highlighted that Spears' caption in the video mentioned she had “fallen down stairs” at a friend’s residence and provided context about her emotional state. “My boys had to leave and go back to Maui. This is how I share my feelings and pray through art … Father who art in heaven,” the caption allegedly stated. “I’m not seeking concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and improve … and I do have great support, so have an amazing day!!!” Regarding the stair incident, Spears remarked, according to the outlet, “It was terrible. It snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken, but for now it’s snapped in!!! Thank you, God.”
Spears’ dinner outing occurred a day after Federline published his memoir, You Thought You Knew. This book contains several damaging allegations, and the professional dancer's promotional campaign also explored his claims.
The Daily Mail reported that on October 22, Spears and her assistant visited a Mexican restaurant before the singer "dangerously" sped home to Thousand Oaks. However, Oliver Wynn, the restaurant's general manager, specifically told Us that this account was not "fair, realistic or true."
He stated to Us, “I was present and served Britney and her friend. She was very relaxed and genuinely pleasant. She entered and exited the restaurant within an hour. She simply relaxed, had a meal, and then left.”
Wynn mentioned that Spears was seated in the lounge and bar area where she ordered “a quesadilla and no alcohol,” adding that “another patron or fan offered her a glass of wine from the bar and brought it to her table — she was not inebriated.”
The day following the dining experience, Federline made an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where he asserted that his sons, Preston and Jayden, have been growing apart from their mother. He informed the host, “This year, one of my sons visited [Britney] once, and he chose not to return due to what he witnessed.” He continued, “The other son, Jayden, who is my younger child, is now 19. He has visited her several times in the last year, but he has ceased contact with her in recent months due to the circumstances.”
In addition, Federline’s book alleged that Spears, with whom he was married from 2004 until 2007, used cocaine while she was nursing among various other claims. Spears vehemently denied the accusations made in the book through a statement provided by her representative to Us prior to the book's release on October 14. The statement expressed, “With the news regarding Kevin’s book coming to light, yet again, he and others are profiting at her expense, and unfortunately, it follows the end of child support payments from Kevin. Her primary concern is the well-being of her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, amidst this sensationalism.”
