Taylor Swift Subtly Congratulates Brittany and Patrick Mahomes on Baby No. 3

Taylor Swift subtly shared her support for pals Brittany and Patrick Mahomes after the recent arrival of their third baby.
Swift, 35, dropped a “like” on Brittany’s Monday, January 13, Instagram post announcing the birth of her third child, daughter Golden. Brittany’s post revealed that the little one arrived one day prior on Sunday, January 12. (She and Patrick, 29, are also the parents of daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2.)
Swift and Brittany, 29, have become close since the pop star began dating Travis Kelce in 2023. Travis, 35, plays on the Kansas City Chiefs with Brittany’s husband.

​​“Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor. They’ve hung out a couple of times and have grown fairly close in a short period of time,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2023. “Brittany thinks Taylor is so sweet and down to earth, and they get along really great.”
The duo have since traveled together, including in Europe last year when Swift played a string of Eras Tour dates. “London & Amsterdam, a time was had 🤍,” Brittany captioned an Instagram photo carousel from the trip in July 2024. In one snap, Brittany and Swift embraced while their respective partners stood behind the duo. In another image, Swift dropped a kiss on Brittany’s head while her pal flashed a grin at the camera.

“They have a really genuine friendship and love hanging out at the games together and cheering on their men,” an insider exclusively told Us in January 2024. “Brittany loves that Taylor is dating Travis, and she’s so supportive of their relationship. They have a very similar sense of humor and are always cracking jokes and laughing.”

While Swift’s “like” is her first public acknowledgment of baby Golden, she has been known to give her friends handmade gifts for their babies. In 2020, she sent Katy Perry a hand-embroidered blanket for daughter Daisy Dove, now 4, whom Perry, 40, shares with fiancé Orlando Bloom.

“Miss 🌼🕊 adores her hand embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift 😩😩😩 ,” Perry wrote via Instagram after the blanket’s delivery, sharing a snap of the gift and Swift’s accompanying handwritten note.
Last year, Chariah Gordon, who is engaged to Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., revealed that Swift had sent her daughter a gift while in Europe for the Eras Tour. (The couple share son Mecole III, 23 months, and daughter Cianna, who was born in April 2024.)
“It’s so freaking cute and so thoughtful,” Gordon told Glamour in November 2024. “In between shows … [she] was keeping my kids super near.”
