Responding to a flurry of social media comments suggesting she lead the ABC dating franchise following her recent separation from husband Brian Hamilton, the 35-year-old content creator posted a satirical video to Instagram on Sunday, August 2, poking fun at why she would be a terrible fit for the show.
“They do not want me and this is why,” Hamilton captioned the clip before launching into mock interactions with hypothetical suitors.
Playing on the franchise's dramatic editing, Hamilton delivered a sarcastic voice-over: “Don’t miss the most dramatic season of The Bachelorette ever. Featuring Jen Hamilton who we did not vet but got lots of comments about.”
She then staged quick dismissals of prospective contestants, rejecting an outdoorsy suitor by saying, “Hi, my name is Jen, what do you like to do? Run?
