Selena Gomez laughed off Stephen Colbert issuing a warning to her boyfriend, Benny Blanco, over his “intentions” with the actress.
The “Emilia Pérez” actress appeared on Tuesday’s episode of his talk show, “The Late Show,” when Colbert asked a pointed question about the couple.
“If you don’t mind me asking, where is this relationship going?” Colbert bluntly asked in the middle of their conversation.
Gomez, 32, appeared shocked and replied, “Uh, whoa,” admitting she thought he was going to ask where they spent Thanksgiving.
“I’m not sure, but I’m having a great time,” she responded.
Colbert, 60, then paused his conversation with Gomez and looked straight at the camera to question Blanco, 36.

The “Calm Down” singer played off the interaction by laughing and mouthing, “Oh my,” before thanking Colbert.
“You’re welcome,” he quipped. “No charge for that. But, it’s a good relationship?”
Gomez nodded and assured him, “Oh, yeah. I love him.”
The comedian then changed the topic back to Gomez and Blanco’s Thanksgiving together, and they chatted about how Blanco is a “fantastic” cook and made all the fixings for their 50 guests.
Colbert appeared impressed and turned the question back around at Gomez and asked her, “What are your intentions with him? You must think you’re pretty special!”
Gomez laughed and explained that her job was to be the “hostess” and to “encourage him” while he cooked.
Blanco has yet to react to the PSA, but fans have shared mixed opinions on the interview.
“Love you but you’re embarrassing her, please stop,” one person commented under the clip posted to the show’s Instagram.
“Totally not awkward 😂,” another user quipped.
“America’s dad and America’s daughter!! Love that! Yeah, Benny, we want to know 😝,” someone raved.
