Machine Gun Kelly Is ‘Taking Some Time Away From Hollywood’ After Megan Fox Split

Machine Gun Kelly is “taking some time away from Hollywood” amid his breakup with Megan Fox, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
A source tells Us that the musician, 34, recently “left California for a while.”
“Everything has been a lot lately and he’s been very anxious and wants to escape the whole situation and work on himself,” the insider says. “At the moment, he realizes they are definitely over and he’s been very clear with friends about that.”
According to the source, Kelly also “seems very different from normal.”
Us confirmed earlier this month that Fox, 38, and Kelly “are done for now” but “could very well be back together” at a later date, according to a separate source.

They are also currently expecting a baby after a previous miscarriage. (Kelly shares daughter Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon, while Fox coparents three sons with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.)
“It was very difficult for both of us,” Fox said on Good Morning America in November 2023. “It sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”

elly (real name Colson Baker) and Fox started dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. They got engaged in January 2022 but navigated multiple ups and downs. A second source told Us that they’ve broken up several times since Fox learned she is pregnant.
Fox herself has been candid about keeping mum on their relationship status.
“As of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship per se,” Fox explained on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in March. “What I can say is that [he] is what I refer to as being my twin soul, and there will always be a tether to him no matter what. I cannot say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”
Kelly has also kept quiet on the split but is excited to welcome another baby.
“Isolating myself in the desert next week to restart this album from scratch,” Kelly wrote via X on November 25.

“When inspiration flows through me unblocked, we will reach the destination in no time. Don’t worry. After all, I’m about to be a dad again!”
A third insider even told Us that Fox’s pregnancy could bring the pair back together.
“Her pregnancy amid their relationship ups and downs isn’t a surprise. It’s amazing one day and bad the next,” the source added. “Colson has been really wonderful with her about it and the baby has brought them much closer together.”
